One Home has been invited to participate in this year's Bough House, a local event in which Denver architects and designers create exciting interpretations of holiday trees, bushes and decor. This year, all proceeds benefit Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization that saves the lives of abused and neglected children through legal advocacy, legislative reform and innovative programs. As the weather cools down and the holidays approach, Heather will be brainstorming. You can count on her to give iconic tradition a new twist!
Visit the Colorado Homes and Lifestyles Urban Townhome featured on the cover of the September issue. One Home designed all four bathrooms and the dining room for the project. Intended as a coffee table, the Zanotta Tod Occasional Table is really a blend of coffee table and end table, with maybe a little touch of 'TV tray' thrown in for good measure. Shaped conveniently to slip right up next to the couch or stand freely and impress from a distance, it has a very modern and sophisticated design. Finished in a glossy lacquer over a polypropylene frame it's available in a variety of bold colors to fit your home scheme. - Kara
If one were to cut down a tree in Candyland (which we certainly do not advocate), its stump would probably look much like the truly beautiful Seat Slice.
Designed by Lene Frantzen and handmade by Zigzign in Denmark, the Seat Slice is made of densely wound 100% virgin wool felt. The wool makes it not only comfortable to sit on but also dirt resistant, durable, and insulating while the color pattern makes each one eye-catching and unique. Shown here in pink, it's also available in a pretty blend of different colors. $238. - Kara
One Home was founded by Heather Mourer as a 20th century modern vintage furniture store. However, when clients learned of her extensive background in Interior Design at Architecture Firms, the requests started coming not only for space planing but for home remodels and renovations. Currently One Home has on staff a showroom manager and sales associate, two Interior Designers and one Junior Designer.
